From The Invisible Woman all the way to the Black Widow, today’s super-heroines truly are great feminist icons and girls all around the world are right to look up to them.
These 29 Marvel women superheroes are beloved everyone and the actresses who play them have become world wide celebrities. These actresses went to great lengths to help bring these amazing characters to life on the screen and be as close as possible to their comic book counterparts.
Zoe Saldana as Gamora
The audience was first introduced to the character Gamora played by Zoe Saldana in the very popular Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
Her superpowers include superhuman agility, super strength and the ability to heal faster than any human ever could. She is a fierce warrior, a well-trained fighter and after you see her first fight scene you know that she isn’t someone whose bad side you want to be on. This green skinned mutant is one tough broad.

This sorceress has the ability to alter anyone’s perception of reality. The first time we saw the Scarlet Witch was when she appeared in Captain America: Winter Soldier, and later she appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron where she too is a part of the Avengers.

This is where fans of the comic books can really see the differences directors and writers choose to make. In the comics, the Wasp is a villain, while in this movie she’s a good guy, and her and Ant-man are fighting crime together.

Evangeline is a Canadian born model turned actress. Her breakout role was in 2004 when she got the role of Kate Austen in the popular sci-fi TV show, Lost.

Even though most people know this character simply as the Black Widow, her name is actually Natasha Romanoff and she is one of the most important as well as most interesting characters you can find in a Marvel movie.
This character has a habit of popping up in a lot of films, and she was in almost all of the Avenger movies and every time she shows up she ends up beating up quite a few bad guys.

Maria Hill, played by Cobie Smulders, is the confident high-profile commander in the SHIELD organization when we’re first introduced to her in the Avengers films.
Later, the character would go on to become SHIELD’s leading operations director after the death of Nick Fury. You can see the character of Maria Hill in The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Now that’s a lot of Cobie.

Life wasn’t always easy for Mary Jane, as she constantly kept trying to figure Peter out, as he kept disappointing her time and time again. She’s considered a superhero, even though she has no powers. However, she is a super detective and that makes her an impressive superhero. It’s no surprise the viewers fell in love with this hard-edged and tough woman.

It was probably faith that he coughed the eye of Sharon Carter, Peggy Carter’s great niece. Sharon, played by Emily VanCamp, joined SHIELD and was an agent just like her great aunt.

One of these characters is Psylocke, a mutant villain also known as one of the four horsemen. As for her superpowers, she has telekinetic powers as well as the ability to create psionic weapons in the form of swords. And don’t doubt that she’s a master with those swords.
